Im a newbie :)

  • Hi everyone,Im new here and not sure if Im doing this right cause I have never posted a message before so please be patient. My name is Jessica and I would like to lose about 20 more pounds. I am going low carb low fat plus exercising. My weaknesses are potato chips and sweets of any kind (cakes,cookies,chocolate) Im looking to meet some new people I find myself wanting to give in to this temptation but am deading it cause of all the hard work I have done so far. Thanks
  • Hey Jessica...it sounds like you are working hard. My weaknesses are potato chips. I could eat a whole bag in one sitting. I was able to find some lite chips in the small bags. I keep 2 or 3 and whenever I get a craving, I grab one. Im on WW and they're 3 points so its not too bad.
    Anyway, just keep up the great attitude!!

  • chubbyvixen -- you sound like me! I'm 5'1'' and I weigh 173. My goal is to weigh 163 by may 25th, but we'll se how that goes I'll definitely check out the support group!

    Nice to see another Canadian lurking around here.
    One thing you will find here is a variety of people from everywhere all with the same issues to deal with.
    It's a great place to find support.
    We all have the same weaknesses, and temptations are everywhere.
    We all need a few encouraging words now and then.
    It gets hard, some days you just feel like throwing in the towel and accepting things as they are.
    But don't... cause the next day you will be so proud of yourself for sticking to your guns and getting past whatever temptations crop up.
    Keep up the good work!!!
    Only we have the power to prevent that handful of chips or chocolate from reaching our mouths!!!
