Default 36 yrs old and TIRED of BEING FAT!! Seeking email buddies!!

Hi everyone!

My name is Anna and I'm 36 years old. I am married and have three children ages 8-12. I work part time (35 hours per week as a receptionist for a counseling agency). I have been overweight most of my adult life. I currently weigh more than I ever have. I am 5'8" and weigh 260 lbs. My health is being affected I'm tired all the time, and have blood pressure problems. I want to be healthy. I don't necessarily have to be skinny. I'd be happy right now to get down to 199 lbs. (When i was that weight before I could wear a size 13 comfortably!) That would tickle me to death right now. I'm currently in a size 20/22 in pants and 2x shirts.

I'd love to find buddies to email back and forth on a daily basis. I am going to start going back to the gym after the first of the year and am thinking of either joining TOPS or WW.

I am a 35 year old mother of one boy who is also just plain tired of being fat. I lost a lot of weight 2 years ago and have steadily gained back all but about 20 lbs of it. Ready to get back into my old clothes, so I am getting very serious about losing it for good starting now. I would love to buddy up with you and help each other get serious about it. Thanks for responding I'd love to be buddies. Sorry for not answering sooner I check my email more often than I do the message board so would love to write that way if you would like that.

I weighed in today at 258.5 lbs. I hate that, but I'm going to change that soon! I'm going to rejoin weight watchers this week or next and I'm goinng to go back to the gym this week and start working out and hopefully that will help jumpstart me back to weight loss.

What program are you going to follow? I look forward to getting to know you better, please email me anytime, thats what friends are for.

Hello Anna. I am a 25 year old mother of two wonderful children. My 6 y/o son and 18 month old baby girl. I have been trying to diet and loose the weight that I have on for 18 months now. Before I had my baby girl. I was loosing weight and toned a least a little bit but since I had her I haven't really been able to loose much weight and I feel like such a blob. I am trying to loose 38lbs. I currently weigh 148 lbs.

Hello,

I am a 39 year teacher trying to lose weight again. I have been over weight all of my life. Two years ago, I lost 93lbs and the last six months I have but 40lbs back on. I need to lose 100lbs to get to a health weight for me. I am on slim fast and try exercising 3 to 5 times a week. This week have gotten 3 sessions in so far. I plan to work out tonight.

Hi,
I am a 32yo mother of 3 (10,4,2) My weight all came on with pregnancy and now I have a total of 50 pounds to loose - and this is the year I am going to do it. So hopefully I can find good support here.

Hi Anna,

My name is Diana and I too am more interested in losing weight for health reasons, although looking better will be a perk. I have 2 kids ages 8 and 5 and am a stay at home mom. This leaves much to much time for between meal snacking. I am trying to use the computer and internet is place of snacking and hope it works. Hope to be able to be buddies and help each other.

Hello to everyone who has posted since I last wrote here. I love getting new replies because it helps to realize I'm not the only one out there going through this and to have others to talk to through this is great.

I started back on my weight watchers points plan today and am doing well so far. I haven't actually went back to ww yet I am joining again on Tuesday. Then next week after I get paid I'm joining an all women's gym, starting tanning sessions and getting my hair highlighted (need a morale booster!). So I hope to start seeing the lbs. coming off in the future.

For those of you who hasn't emailed me yet please do so I check my email several times a day but don't come to the message board quite as often. Well sorry this isn't longer today is housecleaning day....WOOHOO.....Look forward to hearing from everyone. Email me at jordyn1968 at hotmail.com

Blissful, I too have a long journey! With all of us together we should be able to accomplish our goals. I have been really frustrated this week because I have be able to work out. I am going to try to today, though! Everyone have a great day!

I am starting the discovery health challenge, and that starts on the 15th. So I will seigh in and do my measurements, and get on the wagon! The challenge only lasts for 8 weeks, but I need all the help I can get! I am into emailing each other and look forward to getting to know you all better, as we go down this sometimes bumpy road!!! What plas is everyone on? I am doing a version of the beach/atkins, kinda the same thing I think, and keep a health journal!

Hi girls, sorry I've not wrote sooner been alot going on here on my end. I did join weight watchers this past Tuesday. My starting weight was 260.4 lbs. I've been doing very well following the flex points plan. According to my scales I've lost 6.4 lbs. so far! (Not sure if my scales weigh like theirs do or not. Still makes me feel good to know that its working. I'm anxious for Tuesday night to get here so I can see how well I have done. I have not had a REAL Pepsi since Tuesday either! Major accomplishment on my part. I've been drinking diet pepsi and water. I bought some of the little 8 oz cans of diet pepsi and drink one of those with lunch and dinner and water the rest of the day. I haven't had anything sweet either other than a weight watcher snack cake. I'm feeling really good about myself and really am glad that so many people can relate to me and are wanting to write back and forth. My husband is not supportive at all. Don't get me wrong he's a great guy but I guess he's seen me go on and off so many diets in the past that he doesn't belive I can do it. But this time is different. I have the motivation to get it off this time and I will do it.
