Hi All !! I am a 31 year old married female, no kids....I have been doing WW since last Jan 2004, to date I have lost over 50 pounds...if you stick with the program you will lose weight!! Good luck to you all !!!

Satine-- Hello and Welcome. It's great to hear fom someone who the program has worked for. I have only been on a week and am "getting used to" changing lots of my habits and behaviors. WHat was your secret?? ANy suggestions? Water and exercise are key, I am thinking!!

Christine - Hi, honestly ( and I know this sounds horrible ) but I have lost all of that weight without exercising...the problem now though, as I am trying to lose the last bit, is that the weight is coming off slower and slower and I need to start exercising, I have a treadmill just need to use it. Here are a few things I do:
1 ) I always stay under my points by about two ( if for day I could have 27 then I had no more than 25 ) , also I do not use Flexpoints although alot of people do and have no problem. 2 ) I ALWAYS eat breakfast. 3 ) I always drink at least 72 oz of water or more 4 ) I try not to eat sweets, they make me want to eat alot more ... 5 ) I allow myself a cheat day here and there ( maybe once a month or month and a half ), otherwise I will go nuts :lol: 6 ) I try to go to the grocery store once or twice a week, if I do not have variety I will not stick to plan. Hope some of this helps...let me know if you have any questions...I am not an expert but will be willing to help if I can. Also the WW section of this website has alot of helpful people on it. Im 21, mother of one (6mos old girl) I am starting WW Thursday! I have lost 40 on my own, but I need help now.

Hi Carrie, Tahkns for the great advice. i have to look inot the WW posts. I haven't come across them yet.
I have not had a full week yet where I have stuck to plan but, I'm working hard (going on three days). I have increased water (not enough though) I try to not have soda but have been guilty of a diet here or there. But NOw it's 10p.m. and I have 10 points left so, I have to find sometihng to eat now...and its so late. The not eating snacks at all is a great tip becasue I just want to keep eating after I do. I appreciate all of your great advise. I will get there. Good luck with the exercise. I am going to start taking a karate class next week and I want to start with my Tae-Bo tapes 2x per week. Hi lizzibird. Welcome and best of luck to you. Taht is quite an accomplishment, 40 pounds whew!! My weigh ins are Thursday and I just started last week, so we could be support for one another. Keep it up and do your best. you can not expect anymore out of your self than that! Enjoy your precious baby. Hope to hear form you soon./
