Default I am new here...

Hi, Everyone.
I am new here and just wanted to stop in and say hello. I am wanting to lose about 40 pounds. I am 5'5" and weight about 190 now. I feel my ideal weight is between 145 and 150, just based on how I have felt in the past.

I am not sure if I am posting this in the right place or not, and also wanted to ask some questions, but wasn't sure the best place to go.

The first and biggest question is if powdered coffee creamers are ok or not...something like coffee mate? It is getting cold here today, and I know that with some decaf java is the only way I will survive...

Anyway....I am 33, have tried lost of things in the past 3 years to lose weight and nothing that I have stuck with long enough as I have thyroid issues as well, and that seems to make things harder in the beginning.

Anyway...would like it if you would post your best tips...
Thanks!!!
Marica

Hi Marica,
I'm new here also so you're not alone. I'm a 33 year old mother os a 13 year old son... He keeps me busy. I have about 30 lbs to lose and I am doing WW. It's worked for me before so I'll try it again. What are you trying? Regards to the coffee whitener I'm not sure if it's good or not, it depends on what plan you are following... Good luck and I'm sure I'll see you here again...
KIM

Default oops

I can see I posted this in the wrong forum...

I am on the Sugar Busters Diet.
I am sorry...I thought I had posted this in another part of the forum...

I have a 13 year old, too, as well as a 10 year old and step sons who are 16 and 12.

the three oldest are boys, and the youngest a girl.

I feel so silly for putting this in the wrong place. Thanks for the replies, ya'll!!

Hi and Welcome to 3FC.com Marcia! I have been on the Atkins' plan for 4-1/2 years and love it. I love coffee, I can't have creamers. The good news is I can have real cream. yum! There is also no or low carb, sugar-free Da'Vinci syrup you can use on dessert and in coffee and other beverages. There are many flavors. I haven't tried them yet, but have heard nothing but good about them. Maybe that would work on your diet plan.

You are always welcome to come to the Atkins' daily chat thread and say hi and chat. You don't have to be on atkins to join in. Glad you're here! ~Sonnet

Welcome Kim and Jennifer also! You are both welcome to come chat in the daily Atkins' thread also. You don't have to be following Atkins to join in. We're all on the same journey no matter what plan we're following.

Hope to see you both around.
