Hi everyone! I'm looking to make some friends that I can email back and forth, give each other support, and a lot of laughs. Even talking about things that you love helps a lot. I'm 25 years old and engaged. My fiance and I live in a two bedroom apartment with our 2 kittens.
I currently weigh 286 lbs. (It may have dropped a smidgen) and I'm 5'9. I've been very unhappy with my weight for years now, but I never had the motivation to do anything about it. I would go on and on, in my mind, about how I'm fine with my lifestyle, I'm not THAT overweight, I was probably meant to be heavy, etc. But, then about 2 months ago, I started thinking about how I needed to start eating healthier, and exercising. Well, all that thinking finally motivated me to do something about and I started on January 9th!
I don't plan on going on a strict diet of rabbit food, or following a meal plan because I just won't stick with it. I don't want to have to drink shakes twice a day for the rest of my life. So, I'm cutting calories, eating a lot of fruits and veggies, shrinking my portions, cutting out sweets and munchy foods, and soda. I used to drink like 6 sodas EVERY DAY! So, now I will just have ONE diet soda sometimes as a treat. I forgot how good they really taste!
I'm a horror movie buff. I LOVE photography...I go out and photograph every chance that I get. I have a website that I belong to where I have a gallery of all my artsy photographs. Cemetaries are my muse. I know it sounds morbid, but the OLD cemetaries are just so beautiful. I love all kinds of music and I also write, draw, and sing. Man, I feel like I'm writing a personals ad!
