Red face New and searching for willpower and friends!

Hello, I am a 25 year old mommy of 2 (an 18 month old and 6 month old) plus i work full time. I am tired most of the time and i am looking for someone to help keep me going, because i am not getting it from my husband! Since i have had my kids i have no social life and no friends. Sounds boring huh? It is! I want to be fit, healthy and be able to enjoy running around after my active babies. Anyone interested in talking please feel free to contact me

Hi. You must have your hands full. I have a 3 year old and work full-time at a high school English teacher +teach one college course + take a graduate class so I understand being tired all the time. How much weight do you have to lose?

Hi, we're in the same boat. I'm also 25 with a four year old little boy. I feel the same way you do and have no social life or friends who are interested in fitness or health. I used to work full time to so I know how hard it can be to squeeze in time for your own wellbeing! I recently was "downsized" from my job and I've been taking it very hard. I've managed to put on another 10 lbs. So I've decided to take charge of my life and now here I am. I desperately need some good motivation buddies so if you ever want to talk that would be great.

Hello,

You are busy as well! I really would like to lose about 100 lbs, however it is probably more likely that i will lose 80 before i hit an unbreakable plateau.

I need to lose more than 100, but I, too, will probably hit a plateau before I get there. I have tried every diet imaginable and they all work if you stick to them. Sticking to them is the problem. Plus, I am so busy that it is hard to prepare healthy food so usually I eat Slim Fast and frozen Weight Watcher Meals when I am sticking to a diet, but it doesn't take long to get bored with that.

I completely understand that. Not only do i not have the time to prepare the food, but i dont cook, my husband does. So...sometimes i dont have a choice. I dont always care for his healthy meals and i get bored with food very easily, so its hard to feel great when youarent eating what you want.

Hi all:

I was a stay at home mom and a social dead beat until I decided to return to work. I found my day to be quite difficult when the only contact I had most of the day was with the little ones. I would find myself watching T.V.,snacking, and napping all day long. I am the meal preparer and have completely changed my method of cooking. I am the type that will find something I like and stick with it or figure out ways to revamp it. I do alot of research on receipes and how to make my food taste better. I found getting out into the community always helped and planning my weeks for the future took my mind off food as well. I hope this will help someone.

Hi, everyone, I can totally relate to losing one's social life while gaining weight at the same time as a mom. I have three girls 7, 12, 15, and two dogs. It's time to take charge of taking care of me, so I can take better care of them. I'm 34 , 5'8", with about 40 lbs. I'd like to lose. I used to be pretty active, but now I'm not. I also am tired of preparing food in general. If anyone has any ideas about that aspect, I would love to hear them! I am currently training for a career as an ultrasonographer, which isn't a particularly conducive to being physically active, plus the stress of going to college puts me on eating autopilot too often. I would love to be supportive to you all!

Congratulations on returning to college! I have a suggestion for food preparation, i do not do this personally but my mother does and it seems like a great idea. I dont know how much weekend time you have but preparing meals for the week on the weekend frees up the evening time for relaxing, studying, or exercising. I am not the cook of the house, but i am working on that. I think if i can get some ingredients and get motivated to prepare everything on the weekend maybe my evenings will go a little smoother. Good luck with your weight loss!!
