I just found this site and it is wonderful. I've been working on losing weight for almost 5 months now. I'm down about 15 pounds to 187 and I'm still working at it. Nothing terrible, just portion control, lighter cooking, trying to stay away from very sugary and carbohydrate loaded foods. But most importantly I'm off the regular soda and on the diet. I go to the gym about 3 times a week, but I'm doing that more to reshape what I've got rather than to help lose more. Go tri-cep curls and crunches!!
I live in New York City and I recently got engaged. So that pretty white dress is also a motivating factor. Because, darnit, that dress is gonna look good on me, not like a big highlighting cupcake.
Anyway, thanks for listening (reading). I love the posts that I've read so far and I am so grateful for the recipes, I've been babied my whole life and now that I live with my fiance we have to figure out how to cook!
