Lifestyle Readjustment Partner Needed
Hi, Everyone
I'm new to 3FC, and looking to buddy up. I've lost weight in the past, but have never managed to maintain it because my eating habits are poor. I'd like to find a buddy who can help me focus on establishing, and maintaining, a healthy lifestyle, and who I could help in the same way. I've never had a diet/weight loss partner before and I think it might be very helpful.
My weight loss goal is modest, at most 10 pounds, but it's those 8-10 pounds I've never managed to lose in the past. I know that I'll never take off that weight until I start behaving myself. My primary problem is emotional eating, especially indulging in social situations or as a 'treat' for myself. My good habits also go out the window under stress, which I have plenty of during the school year (I'm in law school).
A few more facts about me: I'm 27, married just over one year, no kids yet (2 cats), 2 more years to go in law school, and wanting to stop the yo-yo diet - binge pattern. Anyone out there feel the same?
