Red face I'm new, and would like to meet someone with something in common

undefined
Hi there, I'm a 25 y o female in Scotland who weighs 234 lbs (I've come down from 282 6 months ago). I'd like to find a buddy anywhere in the world who has anyting in common with me. Hopefully a female, who has experienced problems with eating disorders (I am bulemic), and who just wants to be normal. Someone to share the lows and celebrate the highs.

Any takers........

Alyson xxxx

Hi Alyson, I am a 23 year old and I live in California. Good job on your weight loss! I am sure we could find plenty in common with each other. I go to school and work part time, I have just started changing my eating habits and tackling weight loss at the end of April. In high school I starved myself to stay at an acceptable weight(still not very thin) and then I got comfortable after high school (not so much pressure to be thin) and gained all my weight back and more, so now I am trying to do this the healthy way. This website is very helpful with that. so if you need support you came to the right place! talk to you soon!

Kelly,

Don't be sad If you are overweight then if you cut down on sweets and fast food you will probably get thinner as you get taller.

Dill is right Kelly. You shouldn't diet at 9. If you feel bad get a parent to take you to your docor and have a chat they will be able to advise you on healthy living like exercise that would be fun to do.
