New member intro (and need a buddy!)
Hi ladies! You all can call me Amaya.
I was browsing the web today for weight loss support, looking for a community just like this one (I am familar with the layout) and I stumbled upon this site. And I am so glad I did! It looks fabulous!
Now, my intro.
I am a (almost...2 months to go) 20yr old female living in the United States (east coast). I was never heavy, until a little over a year ago. On December 30, 2002, i became pregnant for the first time. This is when the weight started to pour on. Eating became my number 1 best friend. But, I lost the pregnancy at 2 months, 1 week. Along with the pregnancy weight, I became severely depressed and packed on more lbs. And kept going till now, when the depression has (finally!) gone away for the most part. But, I went from 5'3 and a half and 140lbs to 192lbs ( what I weigh now).
I just recently started walking on the treadmill and doing calisthenics (abs, legs, and arms ). Yesterday, i ordered the "Slim in 6" workout and I am looking forward to that!
My 'diet' has been consisting of 1500cals max, per day (using fitday.com). But, I *might* look into WW again. My long term goal is to weigh 130lbs.
anywho, i am *really* looking for a weight loss buddy to share this journey with. Preferably, someone my age, but its not necessary.
