Wink atkins buddy?

Hi everyone.
I'm a 19 years old, and looking for a buddy to correspond through e-mail or over Aim or something like that. I just recently restarted the Atkins diet. Started it origionally in the begining of January but slowly fell off of it. The main reason I think is because I live on campus (at college) and most things there are either fried, greased or carbed. But there are things I could have eatent that I didn't. This time is going to be different. I'm really tired of being overweight and being tired all the time. I get home from class or work and all I want to do is sleep. I want more to life than that. So I'm really determined to put all of my efforts into it this time and am looking for someone to help me along, and I can help them along in turn. I would prefer someone also on the Atkins diet just because it would be easier to discuss stalls and whats going wrong (or right!) and whatnot. But at this point any buddy would do. I really want this to work and want to share my experiences with someone to maybe make this a bit easier. I weigh about 210 now and am hoping to get down to 140- 150. i dont even remember the last time i weighed that much, so i dont know if thats just wishful thinking or if it's even possible. but it's something to shoot for nonetheless. Im going to college in western ny, and from northern ny. hoping to hear from someone soon. Thanks for reading!
my e-mail is [email protected]

I am WAAY older than you, but am also going to begin Atkins as of TODAY! Let's do this together and support each other! We'll let each other know of the progress we're making, etc. Sound good?

thanks Teece.

my name's Krista by the way. Would you rather e-mail, or just post on 3fatchicks? either way is fine with me.
I've been posting in the atkins forum as well on this board. those ladies really know their stuff and are really great at helping you out when you're in a rut. you should check it out

Honestly, I am very new to posting, etc. This is the first website that I've ever actually joined! I may ask you how to get to the various forums. And, also, how do you post a discussion item? I wanted to ask if anyone has tried the 6 Second Ab machine. I just ordered it yesterday.

Probably the best way for us to contact each other would be through posting or through IM. I am at work during the day and won't have access to my home e-mail until the evenings (and, honestly, don't log in each night to check my e-mail). I'll stay logged in to this website during the day, though! We'll reach our goals together!! Oh ... and my name is Terri.

It's nice talking to you!

Well to post a new message you go to the forum which you want to post it in. For that question your best bet would probably to post it in either the "buyer beware" forum or the "exercise!" forum because those forums are geared more towards weight loss products and such. but anyways. you go to the forum and click on the "new thread" button which is usually near the top left. and then you just write you msgs and push submit. hope that helped

Thanks for the info, Krista. I have slowly been learning my way around.

I am going to exit soon and go and exercise. I will talk to you soon! Enjoy what's left of the weekend!
