favorite pair of blue jeans
hi everyone, I hope this site is full of fun, and great support as we all make an effort to acheive our goals. I am 32, and have three children, the youngest of whom is about to turn one. My "handle" is my reminder that there is a pair of jeans sitting in the closet that I really want to wear again.
My wieght gain is a combination of pregnancy weight gain, and pre-pregancny weight gain. I am only 5'4", so the extra40 lbs I'm carrying makes a big difference on my normally athletic frame.
I never had a problem eating healthy until about 2 years ago. A combination of stress, and laziness lead me down the road to fast-food. A pre-pregnancy weight gain of about 25 lbs put me in a bad position for pregnancy wieght gain. My postpartum weight was 181, and I'm down to 169...quite dissappointing results for nearly 12 months time...
I'm starting to wean my baby now, and so soon I'll be able to make a more concerted effort at significant weight-loss than I have been.
I plan to follow the south-beach diet ( for now, since I am still breastfeeding some, I will follow a more modified approach, so as not to experience dramatic loss until he's fully weaned). I have several family members who have experienced great success following this plan, and they have not had any trouble staying true to their efforts. I'd love to have a diet buddy with similair goals in mind!
