Hello everyone! This is my first post!
I must start by saying that I am first & foremost determined to lose the weight for ME. Now with that being said, at 28 I'm a married mother of a beautiful 3yr old son, so I am also starting this journey for my son & my husband...so that our lives are as long & fulfilled as possible
I am currently 245-250lb @ 5'9"...My goal weight will be in the 140-160 range. I am tired of being one of those girls who would be "hot" if I lost weight! I hate hearing the old "you have such a pretty face", when the rest of me just doesn't match up...I know its a compliment, but it's definitely a pity compliment...
I was never thin growing up, but always active...I was a cheerleader, softball player & 1st team all state basketball player in High School... I lost quite a bit of weight through Weight Watchers during my 1st year of college & weighed about 170ish, the smallest I have been since Jr High. Over the next few years I married, finished my BSN (yes, I'm an RN, so I KNOW BETTER than to be this unhealthy), had my son & became a stay-at-home Mom. The weight crept up little by little with every passing year.
The weight has really piled on since becoming a SAHM, and i need to take control. I rejoined WW last month & have lost 8lbs so far, but I feel that I need some accountability & support from somewhere other than the WW website & my family. This is the 4th time I have joined WW in the last 8 years! I love my life & would like to be around to live it for a very long time!
