Hi Shaney: I am almost 65 and have a lot to lose. I did weigh 150 about five years ago, but I then encountered health issues (brain tumor) that required surgery and radiation. The tumor is under control, but the process to get here resulted in a large weight gain due to medication I was on (corticosteroids) and my inability to exercise due to a condition call peripheral neuropathy, which was a side effect of the radiation treatment and means I don't properly feel my feet. My exercise is limited to walking, outside with my cane when the weather permits (I'm in Canada) and treadmill otherwise. Plus every hour or so I put on a song (oldies) and dance in my living room, where there are cabinets and tables to hold onto if necessary. My two cats think I'm weird but they're the only ones who see me dancing! So far so good on my weight loss journey. It is slow, but I'm in no rush. Happy to meet you!
