Hi guys,

My name is Taff, I'm 36 (soon to be 37 years old) and I live in Jamaica with my wife and 2 kids - Olivia is 6 years old this month and Hunter is 2 and a half.

Looking to get some advice on eating less meats and focusing on finding a plant based diet that can be used with a fairly rigorous exercise routine.

I hope that everyone is trying their best to stay safe during these quite extraordinary times.

Hi Taff.

I have been trying to eat more plant based and I have found chickpeas are such a great substitute for meat. What i do is, I get my can of chickpeas and i drain and rinse them and then i put a little olive oil spray on them and put them in the oven to bake. I put vegetables in to bake with them and have brown rice boiling while they cook and it's a super healthy meal i have quite regularly right now. The first time i tried chicpeas, I hated them but i gave them a second chance and I love them now. I eat them All The Time!!

Thanks for replying to my post and thanks for the suggestion.

I actually just started eating chick peas like 2 months ago and I love them - it did take a while to like them to be honest!
