I really believe that the 5 minute act of logging in every day and posting about where I am today, how I feel about it and how today will be as good or better, is a big part of my success this time around. Never really posted about my weight loss efforts in the past. I've tracked them, but never publicly. But it isn't even about the public part, it's about the fact that when you have to put your day into a few words, it makes you think about healthy choices, which puts you in the right mindset. I do mine first thing every morning. I suggest joining one of the January accountability or challenge threads, and posting every time you weigh or measure, even if the post is just about how terrible you did yesterday and how you put on 3 pounds overnight. The habit and thinking about the choices you made are the important parts.
