Hi! I'm Victoria, I'm 20. Here's my story. It's a bit long but, oh well.
A few months ago I decided to join the running club at uni. Aaaand that ended up being one of the biggest decisions I made this year, as it introduced me into fitness culture, eating healthier and it more or less changed my lifestyle completely.
Before that, I was really sedentary. Like, I used to spend 80% of my waking hours sitting in class or in front of a computer.
Then I started attending the running club and fell in love with it. I didn't think it would make a great impact in my life, as it was only once a week. But without noticing I lost some weight too, my clothes started fitting better, I felt healthier.
Two months ago I decided to start tracking my weight loss, and after some research I bumped into this forum (which helped me a lot, you're amazing, girls).
Now I keep attending the running club and I added some extra cardio and HIIT routines during the week. Also, I've been in a slight calorie defficit for a few weeks, tracking macros and that (it really helped me notice I consumed a lot of empty calories with my snacks).
I've lost 11 pounds since September, but I think the biggest change so far is my waist: I lost four inches off my waist in two months!!!
