Hello!

  • Hello all

I decided to join so I could have some motivation to meet my goals. I am always on and off with fitness and hate how I feel.

I plan to eat the healthy foods I like and enjoy rather than things I have to make myself eat (avocados ). I'm working on a rough meal plan and preparing my food because another bad habit is snacking on things while I wait.

I don't have a gym membership anymore but have a few different kettlebell sizes and DVD's I enjoyed that got me results so I will be doing those. And if I am honest, I had a gym membership for 8 months and only used it twice, it was embarrassing when they asked why I wanted to cancel

Then, once a week I can have a meal that isn't strictly healthy, like cake or fish and chips . I did a juice diet last year which had amazing results but I gained everything plus extra when I went back to food, and when I am very strict and don't eat anything sweet I am prone to gorging on stuff. I know, bad, so I will do it properly this time!

So, I am hoping to meet new people, meet my goals, and help keep others motivated. Sounds like a good plan to me! I just need to stick to it :P

P.S. Does anyone know how to add a fitness tracker into my bottom bit? I can't figure it out in the profile section.
  • Hi Pemberley! Welcome to 3 Fat Chicks. Before you can add a fitness tracker, or have a signature, you must be a member for 20 days, and have 20 posts during that time, so at least one a day will do it!

Check out some of the threads that interest you and jump right in. Those 20 days will go by before you know it!
  • welcome Pemberley! I agree - hop in where you feel you fit - you can do this!
  • Hello and welcome!
  • Welcome! After twenty posts, you can add a signature. Just click "user CP" at the top left side of the page after you've made twenty posts, and you can include the BBCode of your fitness tracker.
  • Hello, thank you for the welcomes and information! I have had a busy few days as we had a festival so no time to work out but I did watch what I ate Also, thank you for the info re the trackers
