Default Binge eating diet hopper here

Hi out there.
I'm glad i've come across this forum, I've been seeking some much needed support from people on the same journey. I'm 25 and my current weight is 280lbs. I started at 320 (or maybe higher, when i first started losing weight I was too heavy for my at home scale, that's just the first number I saw) and I lost 80 pounds doing the low carb diet. I stopped that and gained half the weight back and I've spent the last four years being unsuccessful at counting calories. I'm a binge eater, have been since I was 15 and it's hard for me to cut calories, although i've been getting better at it. I just want to find a diet that works for me and get this weight off and finally make it into the 100's.
Anyone else out there on a similar journey?

Yes! I am on a similar journey. I struggle with binge eating as well, and it's really taxing, emotionally. And frustrating. Though I don't think I'm considered really overweight (120 at 5'2 currently) I feel a lot of shame and depression after bingeing and haven't been able to lose any weight, only gain. Also, I'm new to this site too! Best of luck on your journey

Hey! I am right there with you! I lost over 40 pounds from my highest weight (187.4) and kept yo-yo-ing until today when I got back on the scale and was back up to 183.2. I have gained over 30 pounds in three months due to my binge eating issues. I have just signed up with a personal trainer and start Tuesday. I am ready to attack this disorder and leave it behind for good!

Post I binge eat, too

I binge eat, too. Though I have learned to limit it a little. I have gained back the weight I lost after having a stroke in April 2016. I'm almost 60 and have Type 2 diabetes.

I don't buy some of the things I used to binge on that are really bad for diabetes.
Well, occasionally I have...not like I did pre-stroke. I was putting myself in a position of being a ticking time-bomb for a stroke.

I was really careful with eating small, frequent,
sensible meals at first and lost about 20 lbs. I've gained most of it back. I joined this forum to be more accountable to myself.

I have a bit of a virus the past few days, but plan to get more active physically when I feel better.

The thought of another stroke scares me. I had to learn to write all over again.
And I had trouble talking and expressing myself when it happened.
