When I was a child, I was pretty skinny. That was until I hit puberty at the age of 12. After that, I was always a chubby girl. The weight started piling on, and I'm currently at my heaviest - 78kgs. I'm only 5'5, so I'm really overweight. My fats distribute only around my arms and lower body (especially!).
I used to be very insecure about my body because everyone here in Malaysia seems to be stick thin, and I felt like a huge blob. I've learned to overcome that with the support of my boyfriend.
I don't eat junk food, or drink sodas, and I consider myself as a pretty healthy eater. I stay away from desserts, anything too salty, sweet, or oily. BUT, we do eat rice for dinner every day (brown rice). I'm also guilty of not drinking enough water!

A little history on my "weight loss attempts":
1. Totalife (Meal replacement)
I replaced two meals a day with protein shakes and fruits, with 1 normal meal a day. Totalife worked really well for me, but once I stopped, the weight started piling back faster than it shed.
2. Herbalife (Meal replacement)
This did wonders for a lot of my friends and family but it only made me lose around 100g a month.
3. Nulife TR40 (Meal replacement + Supplements + Daily exercise)
This is my most recent attempt. It worked really well for a ton of people, but again, didn't work for me. I replaced two meals a day, and did aerobics for 45mins - 1hour daily.
Gym is not currently an option for me because membership is really expensive here, but I try to do home exercises!
I really want to lose weight because I feel very unhealthy. I don't have that "glow" on my face that I used to. My goal is to get to 60kgs, which means I have a whopping 18kgs to lose.
Anyway, that's pretty much it about me! Sorry for the really long, rambly post! I'm so excited to meet some new friends

Elanna. Happy to have you here!
I've tried it before too, and while it seems easy, it just isn't something you can stick to long term. If your diet is generally healthy already, I'd recommend you start tracking it and see what your numbers look like. But definitely add in exercise. Just straight up walking can make the biggest difference!
