Different people deal with cravings in different ways. What works for one person might not work for another person, so I'd recommend jumping into the more active support threads, and also looking at the older archived threads for information that might be helpful.
It helps to do something that you can see yourself sticking to long term. For example, I once tried low carb and it lasted a very short time because it didn't fit my lifestyle, my tastes, or my appetite (I get real hungry with no carbs). So I tried something different. For me, if I make sure to get enough fiber and protein (not huge amounts, but pretty much meeting recommended daily amounts) makes me much less hungry. For other people, limiting carbs is the only way they're ever full. For others, macronutrients might not matter at all. Takes a bit of trial and error.
