Default Not sure where this all came from.

Hi everyone, I hope this is the first step in my weight loss journey. It seems that everyyyy Sunday I say the same thing when at my Moms house for dinner. "I start tomorrow!!" Well I am for real this time and I hope by joining these forums will help keep it on my mind and keep me motivated.
Anyways I am a 35 yr old married business owner, I was a teacher for about 5 years when I decided it wasn't for me. I know,.. All those years of school to change my mind lol. I have a 3 year old whom I adore with all my heart. As well as three step sons who I have been helping raise for the last 14 years they are 20,19 and 16. Big boys! So you better believe I am cooking for an army everyday! Which I'm sure doesn't help.
Anyways my weight profile. I currently weigh 254 pounds. I am the largest I have ever been in the history of me. I swear. I am a few pounds heavier then I was when I was full blown in labour pregnant. I'm not sure how I got here. After I had my son I went back down to about 230 pounds and it's just like I woke up one day and here I am. All I know is, I have had very little will power and i love food. I love diet pop as well which I'm sure doesn't help any.

Anyways that's me in a nutshell let's hope this is the beginning of something great!

Hello and WELCOME Seamz80!!!
I have certainly been where you are! I entered my 20s around 150 and from around 23 until now, 27 have slowly gained it all back plus more. It seemed to happen all at once though like you said. Until I looked in the mirror and saw a reflection that doesn't look or feel like me. This journey is hard but staying the same is also hard so I am choosing the hard that gives me the best version of myself. You can do this - everyone slips up now and then but making a good choice after the slip ups and continuing down a healthy path rather than just giving up is what will make a huge difference.
I look forward to chatting with you on the boards and I hope you are having a great week so far!!!!
