Hey all!
I was a fairly active member here back at the end of 2013.
At the time I was getting out of a bad relationship, and was working really hard on bettering myself & getting healthy for me.
The good news: I met someone amazing and am in a new healthier & happier relationship! We're engaged.
I moved away from home, and now have a dog and two cats & hopefully a new job very very soon!
The bad news: I feel into some old eating habits and even started on some new unhealthy habits (hello, soda I'm looking at you.) And, as many people do... got very focused on 'us' and less so on 'me'.
So here I am again making another attempt (I think I tried to start posting here again last year, but failed at that attempt.) To lose weight and get healthy!
To help, I joined a program called prevent that was offered through my insurance company. Between that program and this forum I'm hoping I'll have the support and accounability I need to start succeeding again!

would love to find some people to chat & keep up with again. I use myfitnesspal to track calories & like going to the gym though I don't have a gym membership yet.
