HEY ALL,

Just Joined the site. My name is Taylor Hamilton. I'm 25 years old. Ive had such a struggle growing up and now with my weight and now with Weight loss. I have Very good self confidence, Im Very Happy with myself as a person. But I know this weight is not healthy and I need to make some changes! Im interested in hearing about other peoples stories and what has worked for you? What keeps you motivated?

Hi Taylor! Good to have you! As for me, I'm doing a modified version of a diet called the Slow Carb Diet. It's basically eating low glycemic index foods for 6 days and anything I want on the 7th day. It's not for everyone but it works really well for me. Be sure to check out the Success Stories section here and read about people who have reached their goals. It's very encouraging and you can learn a lot about the methods of weight loss various members have found to be successful. Also in the Support Forum under Support Groups is a sub-forum called "20-Somethings" for members your age. I'm sure they'd love to hear from you. Good luck! You can do this!
