Good Afternoon!!

My name is Melissa and I am looking to lose weight and get healthy. I'm 27 years old and have a desk job. About 8 months ago I decided to re-join Zumba and go between 2 to 3 days a week and have started to see tone but I would ideally like to lose between 50 to 100 pounds in the next year. This is not my first attempt at trying to eat healthier and lose weight while exercising. I've tried weight watchers meetings and been successful in my younger years but the last time I tried, I could not commit to the diet. I'm easily swayed to abandon my efforts due to lack of convenience and would love to get tips on meal prepping and meal replacement shakes (especially for breakfast).

Thanks!!

You can do this!! I switched to my first desk job about a year ago and it was rough. I excected to gain a little weight but not nearly as much ss i did in so short of a time. It makes it a lot more challenging but it can be done!

confetti7!! I struggled for a long time with being "easily swayed to abandon my efforts" as well- "I will start again tomorrow" being nearly an unintended mantra. I signed up for a Optifast/Medithin/Fasting program through my doctor (its not called Optifast or Medithin but similar; a VLCD shake diet). Being accountable to someone I trust to take care of me helps. I also know the first time I cheat, even being one bite of something off plan, will open the doors to a backslide. Good luck!

Hi Melissa, zumba must be fun. I'm a bit uncordinated so I am afraid to try it.

Good luck, keep up the good work.
