Hey all! My name is Angela and I have been looking for a "support system" during my weight loss journey.
I am 29 and in the past, I was a runner, cross fitter, and very active-I have always been a curvy girl but after three years of being in a wonderful relationship, I put my health on the back burner, now I look in the mirror and i'm like "omg what have I done!?"
As of last week, 08/01/2015, I started going to the gym. I have been doing 40 minuets of resistance training on the Arc trainer, and a 20 minuet free weight workout.
I feel fantastic, but my numbers on the scale are going UP! My diet is not terrible, I had a bad habit of eating last night but put the kabosh on it, I haven't been eating any later then 7. I have been eating 3 meals a day and I feel like that are balanced, I try to do NO CARB at dinner.
My weight for this week has been;
8/10 180
8/11 181
8/12 182
Why is my weight going UP!? I was at a better weight when I was eating late night and not working out! Any suggestions/ideas?
An example of my daily food intake is:
B-fast: Kashi bar with a table spoon of peanut butter OR a bagel with smart spread OR an egg white with sausage on a lite English muffin.
Lunch: Salad with chicken OR meat with veggies
Dinner: Grilled chicken, grilled cabbage, and a salad with beets.
Occasionally I will have 1/2 cup of low fat ice cream but that's rare.
I do drink on the weekends, just vodka and seltzer or red wine and not excess....
PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you for all your support!
