Default Ready to get on the band wagon!

Hi everyone! I've read this forum off and on for a while now but I figured now was the time to join since I am ready to get serious (again) about losing weight.

A few years ago I was at my highest weight of 313.5 lbs (142.2 kgs) and started Weight Watchers on 01. January 2013. Over the course of nearly two years I have managed to lose 44 lbs (20 kg). It's been a slow process, but that's fine for me.

In the past few weeks / months the weight has been creeping back on - maybe thanks to water retention due to the summer heat - but I am ready to get back on track!

I am going to try my best to follow Weight Watchers again along with reducing carbs. I track my foods on WW and MFP.

This morning I weighed in at 278.2 lbs (126.2 kgs) - UGH!!

I have started exercising (I lost the weight before only on watching foods alone) and have had some sore muscles lately - maybe inflammation is also a reason for my short-term weight gain. Who knows.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to chatting with all of you!

Sternchen1985! Glad you joined! It is likely you are holding some water since you've newly started exercising and have sore muscles. Your body will hold water to repair them. Anyway, glad to have you! Look around and jump right in! Good luck!
