Wink A Journey to 165 lbs

Hi everyone,

I am trying to lose weight for a long time and i haven't really working out or on a diet for a thousand reasons. Now the shirts are small and the girlfriend is minding my fat belly . So I guess it's time to really lose some weight.
So, I decided to go to GYM starting from this evening no matter what.
You all can drop your advices to a starter and I would really glad to read all that and find something useful to me.
And I believe one day I will read back this thread and I would be glad that I did this.

Hi Jack! Glad to have you here! The gym is great, so good for you on going! You also want to eat more healthily than you may have been doing. For example, cut down on junk food, eat more non-starchy vegetables, etc., and watch your portion sizes. Take a look around here. You'll find lots of great information! Good luck!

I agree with Jacqui D, one of most important thing is eating right, if you only go to the gym without eating healthy it will be very hard to achieve your goal. Also eating small portion sizes and 4-5 times a day instead of eating big portions 3 times a day.
