Brand new here! I am excited about a place with like minded people who can support me on my weight loss journey.
I have struggled with my weight my entire life. The funny thing is that I remember feeling fat as early as 4 years old, but when you look at photos, I look completely healthy until I had a depressive bout at 13. Since then I have yo-yoed. I lost the weight at 16 and kept it off until my freshman year of college. Add beer and subtract year round sports and you get a 30 pound weight increase. I maintained at that weight for a long time always "trying" to lose weight but never really getting anywhere.
2 years ago I started dating an awesome guy who was really into fitness and he would support me and go to the gym with me. I didn't lose all that much weight but I got a lot more in shape and started doing 5ks. Then I got pregnant. My pregnancy wasn't all that bad, I actually lost 25 pounds during it. I felt really cute and proud of myself when I looked in the mirror afterwards. Then the postpartum hit and I gained 60 pounds in the 10 months since my baby was born.
This is by far the hugest and most out of shape I have ever been. I am very committed to making some changes and losing the weight. I work 2 jobs and have the baby so I am going to have to be creative with my exercise but I really want to do this!
