Default Reached the limit - life must change

Hello everyone.

I'm hoping to get support and make friends as I hopefully lose all of this horrible weight.

I'm 36, 285lb and really have to make this the last time I do this. It has to work.

I need to do this for my son and my husband - it's not fair that I can't be active with them and I hate myself for it.

I am currently recovering from a bad fall and have two badly sprained ankles and a knee problem, all if which would've been far less severe if I'd been a sensible weight.

I've got high blood pressure and high cholesterol and the stakes are high: I want to have another baby but can't be irresponsible and need to lose at least 85lb before even thinking about it.

My husband is being really supportive and also losing some weight but only needs to lose about 30 lb so I'll need longer term support - that's why I'm here.

I'm shunning the meal replacements and fad diets - I'm going low carb, high protein and moderate fat and adding exercise in too. We've treated ourselves to a family membership at a super-fancy health club and I've given myself three months to make exercise a habit.

PLEASE HELP ME! I know I have to do it myself but it would be fantastic if anyone else is starting out with the same amount to lose and wants to support each other.

Forgot to say I'm I'm the UK (London).

I'm in a different boat then you but welcome!!! I wish you all future success and with your attitude I believe you'll get there and enjoy it too. Hope you find exercise you like and a new buddy with similar goals for the long term.

I have 60 lbs to lose yo reach my goal weight. I feel the same way that you fo and that is that I have to Not Give Up!! I have to do this for my kids and myself. They deserve a healthy mother. I really want a determined buddy that we can check on through out the day just to keep eachother accountable and keep eachother on track. If want to partner up let me know. I would love that
