Talking Brand Spanking New

Hi All -

My name's Julie. I'm brand new to this forum and looking forward to spending some time lurking and learning. This past Saturday was my daughter's engagement party and between the absolute exhaustion of cleaning and cooking coupled with the raw truth of photographs - I'm done with being obese. I eat very healthy so, for me, it must be a metabolism thing. I'm focused on getting healthy and fit for the 5/23/15 wedding date. I'm not unrealistic enough to believe I'll have reached my goal weight by then, but I'm determined to feel good and physically be able to be an active party. First on the agenda - make a doctor's appointment! Thanks for letting me introduce myself and vent a bit. I'm sincerely looking forward to learning from everyone.

Julie

Welcome Julie.

Hope you will gain the knowledge, support, and experience to reach your goal before the said date (and feel good looking at those wedding photos).

S/C/G: Too shy to say for now. :(

Height: 5/7

Default I'm new too!

Hi all. This time I mean it! Did you all say the same thing too? Success for me can only come from support, I am sure. Really want to do it this time. The stories on this site are inspiring. Can I be one too? Did you all have doubt in yourself at the beginning?

Thanks, everyone! I'm here to be supportive as well and really look forward to getting to know everyone. Let me tell you that I have yo-yo dieted my entire life. I lost all the baby weight after my daughter but never managed to get it off after my son. I'm focused on kick-starting my metabolism through food and exercise.
