Soon to be Grandma wanting to be healthy for Granddaughter
Hi! I am an overweight single 53 year old soon to be first-time Grandma! I really want to be healthy for myself and my Granddaughter. I work fulltime in a high stress job and work quite a bit of overtime.
I am sick and tired of always feeling tired!! A couple of years ago I let my best friend move in with me because she was having financial difficulties. I thought it would be great and help us both out with weight loss and fitness, as she is also overweight, but it has actually had the opposite effect.
So now I am reaching out for support here.
Besides my weight and health, I feel like my job and life are out of control in a lot of ways. I feel like I am always drowning in an overwhelming life.
I'm sorry life is so overwhelming at the moment, it sounds like you have alot on your plate! I think taking control of your health can only help you -- eating well, managing your weight, maybe doing some stress-reducing exercise and meditation -- these things can all help you feel more in control of the world around you!
