Hello all!
I have recently started the Atkins diet, after a series of dramatic decreases in health. I have a hard time opening up to the people around me about my desire to lose weight as most of them are very judgmental about this sort of thing. I figured that joining a forum group such as this one would help keep me accountable, and be a place to find answers and support.
I have a really bad snack problem! I love, love, love sweets and even though I'm feeling much healthier in my new dietary change, I can't stop day dreaming about candy. It's getting easier with time, but man the Jelly Bellies are calling my name right now.
While I do have weight specific goals, my main goal is to get back into shape like I was when I still played sports. And if the weight loss helps my aches and pains, all the better

I just know that I am done with fad diets, and changing my relationship with food and active living is the only way to go!
