Default Hello all! Vegetarian here ...

Hello everyone! Not really sure how to do an introduction because I haven't really started "dieting". I decided as of a few hours ago that I needed to just jump into something already. I'm 27 years old, I've tried many things from starving myself to eating right and exercise. I'm a vegetarian, so things get a bit tricky when it comes to eating, i'm on this medication called Topamax too which is a Godsend for about 90% of the people on it, it's usually something that suppresses most peoples appetites but for me it seems to have done the complete opposite, moving on. For a very long time I tried a diet plan where I had vitamin B injections along with Phentermine pills, I dropped about 20lbs. I've gained albs back but successfully kept 15lbs off with absolutely no effort. Here I am though having a hard with with cravings and everything.

I've come here to maybe get some help with motivation, ideas for anything and a way to jump start some sort of diet / exercise plan. 2 months ago, before I started this medication I weighed 170, right now i'm at 180 ...

Welcome, welcome! I'm new to vegetarianism (4 months), but I've found online blogs to be an easy way to expand my recipe list

I wish you luck as you start this journey, there is lots of motivation and support to be found here.

Welcome! I'm vegan, and haven't had trouble losing (beyond the normal struggle we ALL experience when we change our eating habits). But I've been a fat omni, a fat pescetarian, a fat vegetarian, and a fat vegan. I've also been a thin version of every one of those, so don't think your eating philosophy has to hold you back! You can do this!

Default vegan starting over

I have let myself fall off the wagon and although I am a hard core vegan I eat way too much and I eat way too much of high calorie food. So I am back to get my self under control and stop being obese. I have started drinking Spiru-tein shakes made with unsweetened almond milk my breakfast and lunch. Then I can have a large green vegetable laden sald for dinner with half an avocado and a drizzel,(tablespoon) of tahini.
I have lost 10.5 pounds in 21 days.
