My name's Alwyn and I'm a student at Job Corps. I'm 18 and have been "chunky" all my life. Well, I'm ready to start losing that chunkiness! When I came to Job Corps, I decided that I didn't really trust the meat here (that they cook it all the way, cuz it's hard to cook for 200+ people and have it all cooked properly!!!!) so I went vegitarian. And so far, I like it! Lol. It also helps that my dorm is on the second floor and one of my classes is upstairs too, so I'm going up and down stairs all the time! I came to Job Corps four months ago weighing 258lbs. and I'm currently at 240! So I've already lost almost 20lbs, without even realizing it!
I'm thinking, though, that I'm gonna need some support to keep this up! I honestly don't know how I stumbled upon this quirky place, but I already love it!

I went vegan for a year and it made a difference big time with my digestion. I'm back to being a carnivore, but have noticed the weight comes off more slowly. I think that being accountable not only to yourself, but to forum friends, will do you wonders
