Default Hello! What a great place!

I am not sure how I stumbled on to this place but I'm glad I did! I am getting ready to start my weight loss journey. I turn 50 at the end of the month and I need to lose about 60 lbs. Reading some of your weight loss stories are very inspirational! I am starting WW this Thursday, I signed up last Thursday but the program didn't actually start yet, and I am also joining Curves. I had visited Curves about 5 years ago and didn't think it was for me, I was more active than that, looked too easy. I can't believe how sedentary I have become in the last few years! Curves is not looking as easy as I once thought, lol. Anyway I am looking for some comraderie and support. Can't wait to meet new friends!

Hi photomom23! Glad you found us! This really is a wonderful site! Everyone here knows what it's like to struggle with weight and they want the best for you. As you browse around, be sure to check out the WW forum in the Diet Central section! http://www.3fatchicks.com/forum/weight-watchers-18/. Good luck! You can do this!

Thank you Jacqui, Liliann and Mara! I am so excited to get started! I just hope I can do it! This is the heaviest I have ever been so it seems a bit overwhelming.

I'm 52, and if I can do it, you can do it! Just take it one step at a time, 5 lbs at a time, and you'll be amazed at what you can accomplish!

Welcome! You can do it! And I think that once you start working out again you will find your fitness comes back quicker than you think it will!

Look forward to hearing about your success!
