Hey Everyone

  • Hey everyone!

My name is Jenn and I am 26 years old. I have been fat for almost my entire life. I reached my largest at 316lbs and then after 1.5 years I was able to drop down to 206lbs but I have gained back up to 230lbs and I am now having trouble losing it again.

Hoping joining this site and talking to people with similar struggles will help me. My boyfriend and best friend are as big as a toothpick and don't understand my struggles or how I can't eat a hamburger and cookies for every meal.

I'm excited to see how this goes!
  • Jenn! Congratulations on getting down to 206! How did you lose weight the first time? Is there any chance of replicating that success by using the same approach this time?

    You can definitely do this!
  • Hi Jenn! Wow! Great job on the weight loss! C'mon now! You can go the rest of the way! We'll help you! Browse around and get involved here and you'll find your motivation and determination again! Good luck!
  • Well the first time I lost the weight, I didn't take a healthy approach. The first couple months I was taking phentermine, and then I stopped that and mainly ate only celery and plain cheerios the rest of the time. I was basically starving myself. So I don't think replicating that will do me any good. What I need to do is stop letting other people influence what I eat and tell my friends no when they want to go to a pace that only serves fried foods or to a place I know I won't eat healthy....just gotta get my motivation and willpower!
