Hi everyone! I have lurked at 3FC off and on for a few years, and decided it was time to finally join up.
I'm 32 and a SAHM to two boys while also attending school part time. I have about 17 lbs to lose. I have been successful with WW and calorie counting on my own in the past, but I have a real problem with emotional eating, especially when I'm stressed. My life is very busy - I'm doing distance courses towards a nursing diploma, my husband works out of town and is gone most of the time, and my oldest son has autism. I tend to get overwhelmed easily. I'm looking to set a better example for my boys, live a healthier lifestyle and take control of my eating.
I am currently counting calories through myfitnesspal and hitting the gym 3 times per week. I'm trying to take it one day at a time and 1 lb at a time.
Welcome Lorraine! You have alot on your plate, but I know you can do this! Sounds like you have a plan, I wish you much success. Great info and people on this site -- I think the Calorie Counters forum is pretty active, so I hope you will jump right in!
