I am here, finally! Took a while to get out of my own way and get support for a lifestyle change. I am in need of support for my weightloss and better understanding of how I can handle my triggers in life. It is really funny to think about how nervous I was about joining OA, regularly following this wonderful website, and admitting my food addictions to people. I am happy that I am getting out of my own way. Yeah for me, yeah for me recognizing that food was no longer serving the emotional functions as it did so many years ago. It feels great knowing there is support out there.

Yes, there is definitely support out there. This place is great! As for waiting so long... I don't think we can help it, really. We can't make ourselves start unless we are in fact ready to start.
