Hi! I'm new to this site (just signed up) and am really excited to find other people with my similar issues regarding weight loss and diet. I'm 46 mother of 3, (25,23,8) I have been struggling with my weight for about 10 years now and have just steadily creeped up to the highest weight I've ever been. I've tried everything you name it ( including HCG injections! Yuck!) And nothing works. I get disheartened within a week or so and just quit. I need help! I have time, a curves membership,countless books on the topic and a really sweet and attractive younger husband who loves me. What is wrong with me!!! Someone pal up with me and let's do this together! We'll be battle buddies.

Welcome apachesan! Nothing is wrong with you. You just have to find the weight loss program that works best for you, and sometimes that does take years. After yo-yo dieting most of my life, I have just discovered that counting calories, my go-to diet plan, is not what works best for me, and I think I may have found the plan that does. Time will tell! Glad to have you here and do check out the buddies thread! Good luck!
