Default Tired of starting and stopping! It's time to get this going for real this time!

Hello everyone!

I've been lurking on this site for a little while now trying to gain a little bit of motivation to start losing weight. It's helped a little bit but I think actually participating on the forums and meeting people who are just like me might actually do the trick of helping me stay focused on my goal! I look forward to meeting some of you and hope that together, we can make this happen!

:welco me: to all of you that are new to the site.

I have found I have gained insight in just reading the different posts...even when it does not remotely pertain to me.
There are people here that are dealing with deep emotional issues related to weight...while others are just needing to lose some weight.
There is room at the table for all of us! and an opportunity to expand our horizons and be open to a different way of looking at things.

Good Luck , and just focus on your goals for yourself ...and try not to compare yourself to someone else...just be the best you ...that you can be ...that's all any of us can do
Remember to enjoy this special time of self discovery....and don't sweat the small stuff! Try not to let yourself be easily offended....That is one of the things that can undermind success and focus

Hi, Sydney. Same here -- I am so tired of the yoyo! Want to get on the ball and lose the weight once and for all! Looks like we're on the same weight loss track -- I'm at 220-something and my goal is 140-150. I'm 5'4, and live in the mountains of North Carolina. Pleased to "meet" you
