Atkins fan now converted!!
Hello! Just finished my first week and I'm in love with this plan. Lost about 50lbs doing atkins but over the last 2 years, but it lost its magic the last few months Tried everything from lc/ high fat, fat fast, lc / low cal. Working out like crazy! And after a couple weeks would get frustrated, binge and then restart a pound or 2 heavier. Ugh
Anyways decided to try IP after reading all the great reviews on this site. Was VERY sceptical being a loyal atkins fan. Had a hard time at first with no coffee creamer, no cheese, no nuts. My biggest obstacle was morning coffee until I read about adding the shakes. This site is such a great source of info.
Had my first weigh in.. Down 5 pounds. I couldn't believe it, haven't been able to lose 2 pounds for the last 3 months! So I'm hooked.
Anyways just wanted to say hello and looking forward to becoming a maintainer soon
