Have been here before, am back again.
Hi, my name is Karen. I had visited this forum over 2 years ago when I was looking for advice on losing weight while breastfeeding. I am not sure exactly when I was here, but since then I had lost 40 pounds, gotten pregnant again, gained the weight back, lost it after having the baby and gained it back (same as I did after the previous pregnancy).
I am now on a weight loss journey that I started in February. I was at the highest I had ever been, 262.6. I am now down to 242.5 and I still have a long way to go.
I am the mother to 7 children (and 4 step-children). There ages are 21, 20, 16, 6, 4 1/2, 3 and 1. I am a stay at home, homeschooling mom (to the younger children) and loving it.
I get exercise by using the WiiFit Plus, taking walks (now that the weather is nice) and using an aerobics DVD (when I can find it).
I am trying to improve my diet by cutting down the carbs, eating more veggies, juicing and drinking green tea and lots of water.
I am glad I found this forum again. Looking forward to getting to know people.
