Red face Looking forward to positive reinforcement

Just saying a quick hello as I get myself acclimated to the forums. I have yoyo'd my way thru the weightloss/gain jungle my whole life. I got myself down to 220 pounds for my wedding, then "took a gym break" and am now pushing 240 again. I am horribly depressed and just need someone in my corner urging me to get back on track and reminding me that I AM worth it. Here's to getting to know all of you

, Kel! You can totally do it!! You seem to have the know-hows down pat, now you just gotta do it!

Do check out the forums- there are so many that you can join for support/accountability. I post in a few since I need all the motivation I can get.

You're worth it! But like Amandie said, you have to do it. You have to believe you're worth it and want to do something about it. I know a thing or two about that. I've been obese my entire adult life. For a long time I was ok with it. I mean, I didn't prefer to be fat, but I resigned myself to it. I wasn't depressed or self-loathing. But finally I was ready to do something about it and I have been doing it. I think I had to be ready to do it. Until then, I was doomed to failure. Once I was ready and committed to do it, there was no stopping me. Oh its still a struggle. Some days are harder than others. But I never stop getting back on track if I have a setback. I realized that this will be a life-long struggle for me and I look at the big picture. That has helped me get over daily setbacks.
