New and starting today
Hi, i'm carolyn, i am 35 and live in a country town in New Zealand. I have 4yr old daughter and i am a single mum.
I made a decision at about 3am this morning that I am fed up with my weight, I have tried to hide from it, Ignore it and continue eating bad foods and then I wonder why my clothes don't fit!
So i finally hopped on the scales and it turns out I am 128kilos or 282 pounds. I have never been this heavy in my life and i feel horrible.
So I am starting today. I have done weight watchers in the past and I got down to 95kilos back then I was also running 4-5 times a week and feeling great about myself, until i got bitten by a dog while out running and it scared me and I lost my way, that was in 2010.
Now it's 2013 and its time for a new beginning. I am going to take it slowly, just focus on a couple of things each week. This week my goals are: drink only water.(this should be easy as we have a new water cooler purifier and its great)
No alcohol
Watch portion sizes
No snacking on processed food.
Some form of exercise every day.
That's going to be my first week. Will let you know how it goes.
