Here I go again
Hi. I'm new here but certainly not new to trying to lose weight. I have always fought weight, fat kid, fat teen, fat adult. I did lose quite a bit in my early 30's, got down to about 155 and a size 10-ish, which all depends on what brand of clothing you're talking about. I'll be 45 this year. Met my (now) husband soon after and I gained it all back and then some. Menopause came early and by surprise, so I have that to fight now too. I am using WW points but am not a member.
I am tired of being out of shape and feeling like crap, so this is rock bottom and I'm climbing my way back out of it again. I hope this time it is forever, because honestly I am highly disappointed in myself that I fell off the wagon and got so heavy. I'm not looking forward to the fight but I am looking forward to the results. My goal is about 10 pounds a month, I hope it's not too much because I really do not deal well with failure, a flaw I know. I do not like working out, I've never been physical or athletic, but I do it because it's the only way to really see good results and get FIT as well as thinner. My DH purchased us an elliptical and that will be my new best friend when it arrives on Tuesday.
So begins my countdown and I look forward to getting to know you as we share the journey.
