Smile Trying to lose weight again...

Got back to working out on the 1st of the year. I, like everyone else, have a New Years Resolution to get healthy. I am 30, married for 10+years and have 3 boys ages 2,9 & 11. They all keep me on my toes. I have gained 30 pounds over the last year and I am on a personal journey to take all of them plus some more back off. I started a blog and a Facebook page, Fat Chick Fitness. I am using these outlets as a way to hold myself accountable for working out and eating healthy. I would love some more ladies to motivate me and help cheer me on.

Help me get in a good fan workout tonight. For every fan past 31 (Fan 32, 33, 34.... So on) I will be doing one set of: 5 burpees, 10 Jumping Jacks and a 10 second plank. So far I have 2 sets to do tonight.

Do you know anyone in your life that would like some fitness motivation? If so, share Fat Chick Fitness with them!

On another note, my workout today is going to be done this evening. My two year old decided to host another party in his crib last night from 1-6 and then I had to get my boys off to school and help my husband with errands before work; needless to say, I am exhausted.

I try to work out early so I have no excuse as to why I can't do it. Usually everyone in the house is sleeping and I get a little bit of peace & quiet to myself. Although that may be nice, there's not always going to be that opportunity. Some days I will have to suck it up and figure out a way to get it done even with all the chaos that a typical day brings.

If its important you will find a way to do it, if it's not you will find an excuse. My health is #1 to me right now. No more excuses. Lets change the way we look and feel.
