Default Back for round two!

I'm not exactly a new kid on the block: I joined back in 2006 with every intention of beating the battle of the bulge. It worked for awhile of course. I was mainly active on The Biggest Loser Challenge forums and ran the challenge for awhile before I grew more distant from the site for various reasons I can't remember.

Since then I've been married and gotten a divorce. I moved back home in 2010 after being away for 8 years to live with my grandma who's health was deteriorating at the time. I got a good year and a half with her before she past away this last June. I've also traveled, met a bunch of amazing people (including a few celebs! ), and I've dived heavily into watching films and crafting. I do a lot of knitting, among other things, and I'm a big fan of 365 film challenges. Last year I watched 367 films before December 31st.

Weight wise I have been up and down for a long while. Despite not actively dieting, I've kept track of my weight on Livestrong.com and there are a lot of peaks, not many valleys. My highest weight was 225 lbs in March of 2010 and by the end of that year, due to stress from separating from my ex etc, I dropped to 200. I spent 2011 bouncing around 200-205 and in 2012 I finally got a gym membership for my birthday in March. I really thought that was the ticket, considering the money invested in the membership and the personal trainers, there was no way I could not lose weight. The problem is it takes motivation to keep going, and after my first trainer wouldn't cater to my knee issues and my second trainer was laid off, I lost a desire to put myself in the car and go work out consistently. Sure, I would tell myself I'd start fresh and go, but it would only last a week before I was bored of it.

I want 2013 to be the year I finally get over that hump of the 190s. I've seen them in the last year and I know the feeling of getting out of the 200s. It tastes sweet...so sweet that I keep on celebrating and playing "treat yo self" until I'm back up over 200.

I miss the motivation of this site and no one in my real life really can relate to my goals, so I'm hoping to find that sense of comradery and motivation I had before!
