First of all I want to say thank you for sharing. Encouragement is my motivation to stay on course. I am some-what of an introvert/extrovert. If there is such a thing. I tend to try to do everything by myself but I also have a need to help others. I am finally realizing that I need to avail myself to accepting help to succeed and reach my goals. I have dieted many times and managed to lose weight, but keeping it off is the challenge. Food has been my comfort and shield from everything bad and also my celebration "go-to" when times are good. I am learning that I must exercise discipline in order to control my weight. I have identified that my weakness is portion control. The calorie counting has helped me identify when I must stop eating. However, I am not going to get too comfortable; realizing that there is still more that I must learn to get to my goal weight.
