Hi Everyone!
Today is almost the end of Day 1 on IP. I am surprised at how good the powered foods are! I am 27 and 145 lbs. I gained 20 lbs. this last year since nursing school started. Womp Womp. Anyway, my weight has been a battle since I graduated from undergrad at 160 lbs. I was able to lose 40 lbs with diet (mainly portion control) and exercise...but this time around the weight was just not budging no matter how much cardio I did. I like the idea of resetting the pancreas and retraining the body to not crave sweets because I am definitely an emotional eater. I'm excited to have found this community and can't wait to hear about each of your journeys! :smug: |

We have somewhat similar stats...same height and age. :) I graduated undergrad at 160 also, and lost about 20 lbs right away in grad school using calorie counting and generally living a more active lifestyle in this area (Colorado). Continued down under 130 my second year, but the last few years since starting my job I've been bouncing back and forth between 135 and 145 (summer and winter respectively). Trying to get back where I was a few years ago (under 130) and make it permanent through the winter. Good luck! 3FC is a wonderful support resource. |
